Food Pantry Network

315-376-8202

Extension: 1

Food Pantries were designed to help those struggling access food.  It's important that consumers go to the pantry in their area as pantry funding is based on usage. The first time (each year) that a consumer accesses a pantry, they will be asked to complete an intake form. From that point on, each time they access the food pantry, they will be asked to sign stating that their income does not exceed the program income guidelines.

The Lewis County Food Pantry network includes food pantries in Copenhagen, Harrisville, New Bremen, and Port Leyden (which are entirely staffed by volunteers). Each pantry offers "open hours" once each month, which consumers can access without an appointment, making it more convenient for families who need to access food (see site schedule below). Families can also meet by appointment, if needed, by calling 315-376-8202.
